EEK! is a project from Southwest Virginia that builds soundscapes from the heavy foundations of doom metal and the atmospheric haze of shoegaze. The band is rooted in the Appalachian landscape, drawing directly from the mountains to create music that feels both massive and grounded. By pulling from varying inspirations, from film to the surreal logic of dreams, the group treats every song as an experience that we have lived. Their sets have been described as “ethereal” and “a spiritual experience.”
